John and Karen Weller

John and Karen Weller are the sole proprietors of the third generation Double Eagle Dairy Farm, a 3,200-cow dairy operation.

John serves on the Michigan Farm Bureau board of directors and is a past county Farm Bureau president. In addition, he provides leadership on national American Farm Bureau committees.

John and Karen believe in sharing the story of modern dairy farming with the public. The visitor center on their dairy includes a historic pictorial and overhead view of their rotary milking parlor. Every year, they host hundreds of school children who learn about the Weller’s focus on cow comfort and environmental stewardship.

The Wellers take pride in showing the public how they provide a nutritious diet, good medical care and healthy living conditions for their animals.
