Jerry Neyer

Jerry Neyer dairies in two locations with his brother, Bryan,  and father, Dave. They milk 400 cows and raise replacement heifers for a total of 2,000 head on the two farms. Growing their business has allowed all of the family members to work together to produce wholesome, nutrient-rich milk — something they take great pride in providing to the public.

Jerry Neyer has served as president on the county Farm Bureau. Jerry is on the county planning commission, the county preservation board and is a board member of his cooperative. He actively promotes farm tours for local school children, so students can learn how milk moves from “cow to you.” Jerry also works with the Central Michigan University football team promoting milk as a recovery beverage.

Jerry is proud of the fact that Michigan dairy farmers and the dairy industry have a remarkable history of providing safe and healthy products for people around the world.

Whether I’m helping a calf be born or shipping milk and 24 hours later knowing somebody at home is going to be enjoying that product, it’s just feeling like you’re doing something good.
