Scott and Kristie Lamb farm with Scott’s parents, Max and Phyllis, where they milk 220 cows and grow corn and alfalfa to feed their animals.
Scott serves as a local officer and on state committees for his milk cooperative. He is vice president of the local Dairy Herd Improvement Association and currently serves on the county Farm Bureau board of directors. Kristie has her own tax preparation and accounting service where she helps area farmers manage finances for their dairies.
When milking is done and the crops are in, Scott, Kristie and their family can be found riding the pony, playing with the goat or climbing big round hay bales … all part of the fun of farm life.
It’s awesome that our kids get to run around the farm and play and learn because someday they may feed the world and that’s a very important job.
